RegistryBooster 2009 2.1 by Uniblue is a piece of software we can download and try for free for a 30-day period. After the evaluation, if we are satisfied we can purchase it online and see if there is any offer available at the developer’s website. RegistryBooster has been designed to optimize our computer by scanning the registry files, and repairing and removing all the unnecessary ones. The all-in-one user’s interface is very easy to use and provides systematic information on what to do next. After the fast scan is completed, we can see the total amount of registry errors. The demo version only allows us to fix 15 invalid registry entries, before repairing them we can select to make a backup in case we need it. The full version can perform a registry defrag to improve the system stability. From the main window, it is possible to access four tabs: 1. The Overview tab to see the registry status. 2. The Registry Scan tab to select to scan invalid association files, files extensions, invalid shortcuts, Activex, OLE, COM sections, application paths, shared DLLs section, start up section, and more registry files. 3. The Restore tab to delete and restore as necessary. 4. The Settings tab for start up. It runs under Windows XP and Vista (32-bit) operating systems. |
