Uniblue RegistryBooster is intended to optimize your system by fixing various types of errors. In this regard, the tool can scan registry to find defective entries associated with software settings, invalid shortcuts, file associations, driver references, etc.
The program has a nice straightforward interface. In fact, you can even run a complete scan by simply clicking on a button. When the results are ready, you get information as to the gravity of the problems, which is divided into three areas: system-related errors, user-related errors and third-party related errors. Good news is that advanced users can actually examine the problems one by one. However, this has a limited usefulness because they are not allowed to decide which of the errors to fix. Luckily, taking into consideration that messing with the Registry is quite dangerous, there is the possibility of creating a backup before making any changes. In this respect, you can also add certain types of entries to the Ignore list.
All in all, Uniblue RegistryBooster seems to be another one in the crowd as it provided no evidence of its being able to really improve my system’s performance. In fact, its trial version only allows fixing 15 errors, and only after entering your email address. Likewise, you will not be able to modify its settings until you register the product. You should also be aware that the program also advertises other software solutions by the same developer.
Pros
- Searches the registry for various types of errors
- Provides detailed results
- Defragments the Registry
- Allows creating an Ignore list
- Backs up the registry before making changes
Cons
- Does not allow fixing specific errors
- Severely restricted trial version
Good registry cleaner tool.
It has some cool features and keeps your PC clean.
Why go for a registry cleaner only, when Tuneup Utilities gives you all?
There are so many registry cleaners, TuneUp is great but some people like that one too! And some are CCleaner fans (but I don't like CCleaner =P).
